The students of the College of New Jersey, in conjunction with the Department of Art and Art History and the School of Arts and Communication invite you to the 2017 Cuba Art Show. This exhibition features painting, photography, videos, audio, and poetry created by nine TCNJ students from across academic disciplines who spent two weeks in January studying in Cuba, AAH262 Landmarks: The Art and Culture of Cuba. This course is part of the TCNJ Study Abroad Programs offered through The Center for Global Engagement. The students and faculty of the program invite you to share in the beauty and richness of the Cuban culture while reflecting on the multi-dimensional role that the country’s people play in their own, modern-day society. The show will be open to the public from March 22 to April 12 in the student galleries (111 and 119) of the Art and Interactive Multimedia Building on the campus of TCNJ. The artists also invite you to a celebratory reception on Friday, March 31st from 5-7pm, which will include discussions on the featured artwork as well as refreshments.
