Please join us for a last look at the groundbreaking exhibition, Dancing with the Qi, and for a special appearance by acclaimed poet and calligrapher, Huang Xiang. At this event, Huang Xiang will be honored as “Bard of Global Poetry for Freedom of Speech and Human Rights,” an award granted by TCNJ’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the English Department.
The Closing event will also feature a shakuhachi performance by Glenn Swann to accompany Huang Xiang’s poetry recitation.
This event is held in conjunction with the exhibition, Dancing with the Qi: TransMediating Chinese Calligraphy.
