Artist’s Talk: Suzanna Zak on Nov. 29 at 1 pm

Interested in photography, artist’s books, and travel? Photographer, Suzanna Zak will present the next Artist’s Talk on Tuesday, November 29 at 1 pm in AIMM 125. Come join us!

A frequent traveler, Suzanna Zak’s site-specific installations employ sculptures, photographs, and souvenirs from her travels. Born in Moscow and raised in New Jersey, Zak also creates artist books that disseminate information while engaging with repeating and degrading images. Her artist’s book, Klondike Halftone (2015), is currently on display at the TCNJ Art Gallery as part of Stay: A Survey of Horses Think Press. Zak runs the artist book publication project Rock Bottom where she collaborates with other artists and publishes her own work. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is also an avid mushroom hunter and rock climber. Visit her website (http://www.suzannazak.com/) or read the interview from VICE (http://www.vice.com/read/mossless-in-america-suzanna-zak) for more information about the artist.
