Inter-Mediate: Selected Contemporary Chinese American Art

Inter-Mediate: Selected Contemporary Chinese American Art, on view in the Art Gallery from October 26, 2011 – December 11, 2011, featured the work of artists Hu Bing, Cui Fei, Ho Sin-ying, Tan LiQin, Song Xin, Zhang Hongtu, Zhang O, and Zheng Lianjie. These artists all were born and attended art school in China (or in one case Hong Kong) and now live and work in New York and New Jersey. Their art mediates between the two cultures of China and the United States, as well as negotiating between different artistic media and styles.
