SNAPSHOTS!
A Campus-wide Photography Exhibition Creating and Cultivating Community Through Photography
February 7-March 7, 2024
Opening Reception: February 7, 5-7pm
SNAPSHOTS, a campus-wide exhibition creating and cultivating community through photography, runs February 7 through March 7. The exhibition is a result of a collaboration between Photography and Video Professor Anita Allyn, with three interns this past fall. The interns—Jessica Zhang ’25 (Art Education), Grace Harkins ’26 (Fine Art), and Franchesca Vega ’24 (Photography and Video) were instrumental in the evolution and results of this exhibit.
Organizer’s statement
As a professor of Photography and Video in the Department of Art and Art History, I have worked alongside three talented interns this past fall—Jessica Zhang (2025, Art Education), Grace Harkins (Fine Art, 2026), and Franchesca Vega (Photography and Video, 2024). Together, we created a photography exhibition by inviting all TCNJ students, staff, and faculty to share their unique interpretations of inclusion and access through the lens of their photographs. While these issues are complex, the photo submissions have proven to be a broad range of expression, experience, and interpretation.
