Justin James Reed is a Richmond-based artist whose works have been featured in many prominent museums and exhibitions. He has been featured in museums all over the world, including New York, Paris, Amsterdam, and Sydney. His works are also in many collections, including the Library of Congress, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Yale University Art Gallery, and more. Reed was a co-publisher at Horses Think Press, a Brooklyn-based artist’s press, and is currently an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Justin James Reed’s practice encompasses a variety of mediums, but is generally photo-based.
