TCNJ’s Departments of Chemistry, Art, and Art History are pleased to present A Broad Study of London: Art & Chemistry, an exhibition featuring the work of ten study-abroad students: Bryan Borut, Felix Cadman, Steven Douedi, Erica Dwiatek, Chloe Fama, Alexis Jones, Lisa Kennedy, Christopher Kirby, Jacob Levene, and Dylan Nguyen
September 3-October 11, 2013
The students will exhibit cyanotypes (an early photographic process, also known as the blueprint process, developed by John Herschel in 1842) and alternative map structures that showcase their independent field research during a study-abroad course in London, England. Associate Chair Dr. Lynn Bradley (Dept. of Chemistry) and Professor Elizabeth Mackie (Dept. of Art & Art History) led the successful cross-curricular program, demonstrating how interdepartmental collaboration truly enriches student experience.
